ProFill 2
Direct Transfer Technology
ProFill 2 direct transfer technology uses a clear air chamber to transfer viscous material from a straight wall open cup directly into the tip of a cartridge or syringe. Follower Plate kits are available to fit different sized cups up to 1400mL. A JIC adapter fitting connects the tip of the cartridge or syringe to the center port of the follower plate. An O-ring seal surrounds the follower plate to prevent air from getting into the material during transfer. Once the cup with material is placed inside the chamber the operator can dynamically see and control the flow of material by controlling the air pressure level. The cup is pushed until it bottoms against the follower plate as material is sent through the adapter port and into the cartridge. This process allows higher viscosity material transfer and higher air pressures without air-entrapment, blow by or cup distortion.
Why it matters:
Direct transfer is fast and eliminates the time, mess and air-entrapment when attempting to manually scoop material from a cup into a cartridge or syringe.
